The ALL STARS × ONIMARU Project AMA was held on Twitter Space on October 11, 2022.

Overview

The AMA attracted 2,369 listeners and was a blast. KOUSEI from Start Community and ONI acted as MCs.

Starting with the self-introduction of each IP, the speakers introduced SWAGGA, explained the Japan Dream Collection which will be released in the future, and illustrated the utilities of this collection. In addition, further exclusive information was given, such as the background behind the launch of this collection, which consists of 12 IPs for the first time in Japan, the side stories in it, and the characteristics of each IP. It turned out to be a great AMA. The Japan Dream Collection will be launched to enhance the influence of the first collaboration of the best Japanese projects all over the world, and it will start to thrive from now on.

Here’s a summary of the AMA content for you all.

Content Summary

KOUSEI: Please give us an introduction to yourselves and the IPs.

Big Hat Monkey: I’m the founder of a collection called Neo Samurai Monkeys. I’ve collaborated with some of the IPs before, so I’m looking forward to the collaboration this time.

NIKO24: I’m the founder of a cyberpunk-themed Generative NFT called Neo Tokyo Punks. We are collaborating with smartphone game IPs and are working to become the first popular IP for NFT.

WAKA: I am the founder and creator of an IP called ASAGI which uses animal motifs. I usually work as an artist who draws single paintings.

クリプトン教授: I’m the creator and founder of the crocodile-themed SPACE CROCOS collection. We are working with the goal of launching an apparel brand.

ATSU: I’m the founder of Flower lolita. We create multi-media artworks for contemporary art and manage exhibitions. With this background, the NFT collection is characterized by large eyes that incorporate the essence of contemporary art. In addition, Keisuke Honda, a former professional soccer player, is a co-founder. I am very much looking forward to working with you.

Fowler: This is Fowler from Love Addicted Girls. Since the founder is absent for now, I will speak. LAG is a cute collection of 4000 pieces, and will debut as a Vtuber, which has been decided.

AZITO: AZITO is a project to develop a 2D metaverse space. Land-sale of 3000 pieces ended in August. We will be testing the closed beta version of the metaverse from the end of September, and will continue to update and increase the number of testers. I am really looking forward to this collaboration.

ふぇね: I am the Japanese representative for VeryLongAnimals. The concept of Very Long is to use animals with long faces as PFPs and have fun playing with them.

KOUSEI: We are collaborating with SWAGGA to deliver Japanese projects to the world. Could you please introduce SWAGGA to us?

SWAGGA: SWAGGA is a phygital fashion metaverse, and phygital is a coined word that combines physical and digital. We aim to combine real-world objects with digital-world content and services. And, as an immersive e-commerce platform for fashion lovers with high entertainment value, we continue to develop it based on the concept that “everyone can swap their likes into value”. The metaverse also contains games, and that’s what we have also been working on. NFTs from the Japan Dream Collection will also be converted to 3D in the metaverse, and holders who purchase them will be able to display them in their personal rooms. Onimaru is a digital life form, and an exhibition IRL was held in Shibuya in collaboration with 31 famous artists.

KOUSEI: Let me introduce the Start Community started by ONI and I. I live abroad and have connections abroad. From now on, I would like to work with you to promote Japanese projects overseas. Like the Avengers, my goal is to collaborate with various projects as the Start Japan All Stars Project.

ONIちゃん: Starting with this AMA, we would like to hold regular events and continue our activities in order to develop this into a blue chip project.

KOUSEI: At first, I was working alone, but I wanted to be more active, so I’m teaming up with ONIちゃん, who is highly reliable in Japan.

ONIちゃん: Please tell us about the NFT sales schedule for the Japan Dream Collection.

SWAGGA: The Metaverse is in development and we will be opening the personal space showroom demo (beta testing of the apartment) to NFT holders by the end of this month so that they can experience the showroom. The opening of the metaverse is scheduled for release at the end of January or February of next year. We are also developing a game of Dance Battle, which will also be released in February or March of next year.

ONIちゃん: What kind of partnership did you have with Crooz?

SWAGGA: We have a business and capital alliance with Crooz, and we are looking forward to strengthening our ties with Crooz’s expertise in e-commerce and game development, as well as other projects.

ONIちゃん: I would like to guide you to the Discord Server.

KOUSEI: Listeners, please enter the Discord Server of Start first. Then, for listeners from outside Japan, please go to the SWAGGA discord, which will be available in English.

ONIちゃん: Can you tell us about SWAGGA’s NFT sales results?

SWAGGA: Onimaru, SWAGGA’s mascot, is sold in three NFT collections: Bad Kid Collection, MetaHuman Collection, and Bad Kid Collection Binance Edition. The 9999 pieces have already been sold out from December 2021 to March 2022. In addition, 2,500 Onimaru NFTs of the Runway Collection collaborating with the Tokyo Girls Collection were sold out in one day.

ONIちゃん: Onimaru is now on the Binance chain (BNB), but the Dream Collection will be sold on the Ether chain (ERC), right?

SWAGGA: Yes, that is the plan. We are developing a decentralized bridge to support cross-chains, so we are aiming to handle multiple chains in the future, including ERC, BNB, and Polygon.

ONIちゃん: I believe you are supporting sales and staking, can you explain a little about that?

SWAGGA: All Onimaru NFTs can be staked. By staking, you can receive furniture and items that can be used in SWAGGA (Metaverse), as well as fashion items (NFT) such as clothes and shoes that can be worn by your avatar.

ONIちゃん: In the future, will we be able to have our own room in the metaverse?

SWAGGA: You will be able to have your own room, where you can display the NFTs in your MetaMask Wallet.

ONIちゃん: As a supplement, we have a dedicated space for Start within SWAGGA. We will display the works of Start Japan All Stars in that dedicated space. This way, people from overseas will be able to come and see Japanese projects.

KOUSEI: Let me explain the background of starting Start Japan All Stars: SWAGGA and my company, Start Inc., will make good use of your IP, and SWAGGA will create 3D NFTs that can be used in the Metaverse for staking and dance battles. I am also doing the marketing to the international community, so we have many international visitors to this AMA.

ONIちゃん: I think SWAGGA’s game is dance battles, can you explain a little?

SWAGGA: The scores of dance battles are determined by three metrics: outfits, dance skills, and spectators. They are wearable NFTs on their avatars, the level of accuracy hitting the right rhythm, and the popularity of the game, which is determined by the number of spectators.

ONIちゃん: For example, someone from NEO Tokyo Punks is going to have a battle, so you can invite your friends?

SWAGGA: Yes, that’s right.

ONIちゃん: Then it would be a battle that you cannot lose. LOL!

KOUSEI: Let me answer a question from an AMA listener. “Will there be more project members?” The answer is, there may be more in the future, but only projects that get voted in by the Starting Community will be new to the project.

ONIちゃん: Can you give us a timeline for the launch?

SWAGGA: There are several things, we have a partnership with a certain fashion brand, and it will be included in a Japanese magazine which will come out at the end of October. Also, this is undecided, but we may be able to exhibit Start Japan All Stars’ work in a gallery in New York.

KOUSEI: Let me explain the sales volume of Start Japan All Stars. Each IP has 100 collaborative pieces. There are 12 IPs in total, so only 1200 pieces will be sold in total. We expect this project to be quite viral, so we will be selling a very limited number of pieces.

クリプトン教授: Actually, I also wholesale clothes on SHOPLIST, which is run by Crooz, for my work, so I am very surprised because I know them well. Since I will be developing my own fashion brand in the future, I would like to make apparel under the Start Japan All Stars brand and sell it on SHOPLIST in the future.

ONIちゃん: You and SWAGGA have also talked about selling Start Japan All Stars physical goods.

SWAGGA: For example, we are preparing a system where if you buy NFT, you can exchange it for physical clothing.

ONIちゃん: What are SWAGGA’s most recent moves in the future?

SWAGGA: We are planning to hold a festival in Metaverse next year. We have more than 1,000 people here today, but our goal is to have more than 1,000 people in the Metaverse. We are planning an exciting event where people can walk around at the festival (Metaverse) and work together to complete tasks together.

ONIちゃん: Should I have a good-performing computer for the festival?

SWAGGA: You will need some, but SWAGGA’s metaverse is designed to run on a browser.

ONIちゃん: What about sales of the Japan Dream Collection?

SWAGGA: Sales will be explained on a special site on SWAGGA’s official website, and will be sold through WL, pre-sale, public sale, and mystery boxes. Mystery Boxes will be revealed all at once after the sale. Until the reveal, we will not know which project the NFTs in the box belong to.

ONIちゃん: A listener has a question. “I think it’s great that there are 12 IPs participating in this project. What made you decide to join the collaboration?”

Big Hat Monkey: There are two reasons. One is that KOUSEI, a partner of Start Community, is involved in this project so we can trust them, and the other reason is that we were attracted by the fact that we can show this project to the world as the first projects in Japan with all of you. I also felt that it would be an excellent opportunity for me to work with all of you as the first project in Japan to go overseas.

NIKO24: I’m very fascinated because I can participate in a project with so many IPs, and also because I personally like the design of Onimaru, and I thought it would be fun to see how NEO TOKYO PUNKS would collaborate with it.

WAWA@ASAGI: I thought the collaboration between Onimaru and ASAGI, which I designed, would be interesting, so I joined the project.

クリプトン教授: My design is a 2D illustration, but I am looking forward to seeing how it will turn out when we collaborate as a 3D project. Also, the members are all interesting people, so I had no hesitation in joining the project.

ATSU: I thought that our design with large eyes and Onimaru’s design with large eyes would be a good match, and as I was talking with ONIちゃん, I was inspired by her passionate desire to collect the first NFT collection in Japan and go all around the world.

Fowler: I have complete trust in ONIちゃん and I thought it would be very interesting to be able to show the collection to the world.

Akim: I am a founder of Very Long Animals, and ONIちゃん asked me to join.

AZITO: I am excited to see how far we can go around the globe, and also because ONIちゃん has been a great help to me.

ONIちゃん: Please join OJISAN DAO at the right time.

KOUSEI: NEO STACKEY, who is not here today, will also participate in this project. The Start Community was a project for IP, but we will work as a community for each other.

ONIちゃん: Since many people from overseas are participating this time, I feel that we have taken the first step in our goal of presenting Start Japan All Stars to the world.

Host: Thank you for joining us, listeners.
